About the Instructors

Robin Pike and Murray Kilshaw are both Certified CORE Examiners as authorized in the Province of British Columbia. Together, they have taught 1000's of prospective hunters the CORE course. Their course is based on a mandatory curriculum set by the BC Wildlife Federation mixed with practical field experiences.

 

Robin Pike has a background in physical sciences; delivering lectures and extension of natural resource information. Robin teaches the Laws and Regulations, Conservation, Ethics, First Aid and the Bird Identification components of the CORE course.

 

Murray Kilshaw has a background in law enforcement and is a certified Canadian Firearms Safety Instructor.  Murray has a background in adult education and has been teaching for more than 30 years.  Murray teaches the Firearms Safety, Outdoors Survival and the Animal identification components of the CORE course. Murray also teaches the Canadian Firearms Safety Course see: Canadianfirearmstraining.com
